Amanda Purcell graduated from The University of Akron

With much hard work and determination, Amanda Purcell of Stow, OH graduated as a member of the 209th class from The University of Akron. In all, the summer 2013 class consists of 1,260 candidates from 24 states and 30 countries. This group includes 56 candidates for doctoral degrees; 403 for master's degrees; 526 for bachelor's degrees; and 275 for associate degrees.

Purcell successfully completed the program requirements earning the degree Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology.
