Held annually, The University of Akron LIFE (legacy, integrity, fellowship, excellence) Awards honors students, faculty, and campus organizations that have demonstrated the LIFE values.
At this year's event, Anthony Brautigam of Akron, OH, won the Outstanding Adult/Nontraditional Learner Award. The Outstanding Adult/Nontraditional Learner Award is presented annually to adult/nontraditional learners that have exhibited outstanding achievements while pursuing a degree at The University of Akron. Applicants must be 25 years or older, currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours while working full time or enrolled in 12 credit hours, have completed a minimum of 64 credit hours and have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
