Erik Zito receives the A-Key Award (Gold) and the Who's Who In American Colleges and Universities Award.

Held annually, The University of Akron LIFE (legacy, integrity, fellowship, excellence) Awards honors students, faculty, and campus organizations that have demonstrated the LIFE values.

At this year's event, Erik Zito of Twinsburg,OH, won the A-Key Award (Gold) and the Who's Who In American Colleges and Universities Award. The A-Key Gold Award is presented annually to undergraduate students that distinguish themselves as some of this university's most actively involved student leaders and academic achievers. Students must have a minimum 2.3 grade point average and be currently enrolled in at least 12 hours, or a fifth-year graduating senior who has consistently been a full-time student, or an average of 12 credit hours or more per semester for his/her college career. The Who's Who Award is presented annually to students who demonstrate leadership potential. The award is based on academic success, campus involvement, volunteer work and community service. Applicants must have a minimum accumulative grade point average of 2.90, currently be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, and be active in any co-curricular involvement at The University of Akron.
