Hannah Croft Volunteered for The University of Akron's Make a Difference Day

2014 Dec 15

Hannah Croft of Akron, OH was one of more than 550 University of Akron students and staff who volunteered in the Akron community for Make a Difference Day 2014. Croft is majoring in Psychology at UA.

2014 marked the 10th year that UA has participated in the national day of service, Make a Difference Day. Volunteers cleared brush, painted, landscaped, cleaned interiors, organized facilities, played with children, and certainly made a difference in our local community.

This is the fourth year the program has been coordinated by the Department of Student Life's Civic Engagement Program. In its first nine years, more than 5,900 volunteers have dedicated over 21,400 hours of service work to the Akron community.
