Jessica Gonda receives the Masters Scholar Award

Held annually, The University of Akron LIFE (legacy, integrity, fellowship, excellence) Awards honors students, faculty, and campus organizations that have demonstrated the LIFE values.

At this year's event, Jessica Gonda of Boardman, OH, won the Masters Scholar Award . The Masters Scholar Award is presented annually to a student excelling in a doctorate program at the university. The award takes into consideration grades, research, publications, and involvement in the field. Individuals eligible for this award are graduate students who have a minimum 3.0 accumulative grade point average and have completed at least 12 graduate credit hours.
