Sarah Insull receives the Exceptional Civic Engagement Award - Individual and the Who's Who In American Colleges and Universities Award.

Held annually, The University of Akron LIFE (legacy, integrity, fellowship, excellence) Awards honors students, faculty, and campus organizations that have demonstrated the LIFE values.

At this year's event, Sarah Insull of Baden,PA, won the Exceptional Civic Engagement Award - Individual and the Who's Who In American Colleges and Universities Award. The Department of Student Life Exceptional Civic Engagement Award is presented annually to a student that had become distinguished in a civic engagement accomplishment and has contributed significantly to the betterment of the campus community and/or the community beyond the UA campus. To be eligible, the undergraduate student must possess a minimum 2.5 grade point average and be currently enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. The Who's Who Award is presented annually to students who demonstrate leadership potential. The award is based on academic success, campus involvement, volunteer work and community service. Applicants must have a minimum accumulative grade point average of 2.90, currently be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, and be active in any co-curricular involvement at The University of Akron.
