Skyler Warren Volunteered in Akron During UA's MLK Day of Service

Skyler Warren of Sandusky, OH made the most of the Martin Luther King Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 21, by volunteering in the Akron community. Warren is majoring in Art - Graphic Design.

Warren volunteered on Monday, Jan. 21, with the Department of Student Life's Civic Engagement Programs for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Supported through a grant from ServeOhio, they worked with the non-profit Nazareth Housing Development Corporation, which facilitates housing for low and moderate-income families in Summit County. The UA crew did landscaping, cleaning, wallpaper removal and interior painting at one of its homes.
