Steven Vesey Named 'Outstanding Student' by Summit College

Steven Vesey of Youngstown, OH, was recently named Outstanding Student by Summit College and received Outstanding Student Award for Construction Engineering Technology - Baccalaureate program and the Outstanding Associate Studies Student Award at a ceremony earlier this week. Vesey is majoring in Construction Engineering Tech.

Summit College held their annual award ceremony this week to honor this year's Outstanding Student recipients. Recipients are nominated by a faculty member and voted on by the faculty within that department. The requirements are based on the students' relevant academic achievements.

The Outstanding Student Awards are presented by the chair of each department, and the scholarship awards are presented by Assistant Dean Stephen Motika.
